FIGHTING A LOST BATTLE

Through the desert of defeat he makes his way

Trying to find a place where his broken body could lay

Dragging himself along with a hope to find rest

As the sun abandons him and sets in the west.

The woods stare at him throught the deep forest darkness

Nocturnal birds whisper softly his battle is hopeless

Thorns and brambles,stones and sand

The sword now trembles in battle weary hands.

Cold winds sweep gently freezing his soul

The wounds of defeat in his heart left a hole

Dried leaves and dead flowers,branches and twigs

To find his lost honour ,through the graveyard of time he digs

Darkness of night or the darkness of broken wishes

Lost in his quest the way to his end he searches

The shadows of the night darkens his path

On a broken man fate unleashed its wrath.

A battle all his life he has fought for her

In a quest to find her love he has lost  himself forever

Plunging to the bottom ,a never ending fall

To gaze at her for a moment he has given up all.

He still remembers every dream that they wove

He still waits for her though he is not her love

Cold nights as he lay his head on the ground

He can still hear her coming though her feet make no sound

The spirit is willing though the body is weak

Rejection and pain has bought a warrior to his feet

Love in his heart dream in his eyes

Though tonight in her grave his love lies......

                                 A DREAM OF YOU

Gently the winds kiss the surface of the lake

The night passed by the sun is awake

The stars are still shinning but are shrouded durin the day

Thinkin bout the beautiful dream revealed while in the meadows i lay.

A dream so it seems ,wat last nite i saw

Veiled by darkness the brilliance of beauty as i stood in awe

The moon peers through the dark clouds and marvels at the sight

Her face radiates brighter than the brightest light.

Softly her feet caresses the ground as she moves

Long hairs shine in the moonlite like mornin dew

As she lowers her eyes nature gasps in wonder

Her calm voice beckons you to peaceful waters yonder.

Her skin as soft as early winter snow

Before her the beauty of nature bows low

She's the uncrowned queen of all living kind

All the powers of the universe together in peace she binds.

The touch of her hand heals the earths age weary soul

As she feels the green grass,natures bounty made whole

The woods are deep many travellers gone astray

Her deep eyes I wish to be lost in,where forever i wanna stay.

Though she isnt mine to somebody else she belongs

Forever of her beauty will be all my love songs

On Her tender bosom I wish to lay my head when life's journey ends

As to lead me away from this world the angels will be sent......

                          LIKE BROKEN DREAMS

She lays amidst her broken world ,nobody for her

No arms to hold her close.to sheild her from her fears.

Head held low between her wounded hands

The dark clouds of sorrow spread swift over the land.

Amidst the woods of long forgotten beings

She lays down her wounded broken wings

Those beautiful eyes that once looked upon the world with kindness

Are now drowned in their own tears,hope seems hopeless.

Its spring but the leaves all wither away

Just like the dreams she wove all blown away

Trying to hold on to her love he is all that she wants

Her hands are all bleeding but let go she cant.

Shes falling like the raindrops,she is loosing her breath

Too many tears from heaven tonite have been wept

Her heart breaking with the passing of each moment

She has lost everything ,but holds on to his sweet memory.

Crushed by her pain she is still smiling as she remembers him

Loosing grip on immortality ,but still praying for him

Laying her head on he earths bosom ,eyes lifted to the skies

He is watching her die,but pretends he cant hear her cries.

She gave him more love than that could be ever given

She kept loving him even when her life he was slowly taking

Even now as she lay lifeless,mayb she still thinks of him

Shattered dream of a happy life she once dreamt with him.

                     ILL BE THERE FOR YOU

You open your palms and see that their empty

Memories of joy fading away so swiftly

You feel your heart break your tears have all dried

All the hope of a newday slowly seems to have died

All you held so dear seems to be withering away

Drowning in your tears wounded you lay

Your heart beats slowly uncertain of what may come

You look around in the dark you want to go home.

In your sadness and pain you push me away

You dont want me to feel the same way

You feel its your battle that u must fight alone

All the little joys that you have slowly al gone

Give me your hand ,place them in mine

Trust me angela everything will be fine

Dont push me away coz im here to stay

Together through this hurt and pain we will find a way.

Sound as a little bird youll sleep in our nest

Dont hide your tears,coz my heart weeps too

No matter how far I am im still close to you

Dont feel that your alone,bcoz I was made for you

ID rather hope to die than see destiny hurt you

You weep silently in bed at nights and hide ur tears in the day.

You wonder what uve done to be treated this way

THough the path behind you hidden and the one ahead is dark

The pain of the years on your heart have left a mark

Just feel the touch that you feel on your hands

The path ahead full of danger and hurt maybe
